Welcome to the website for East Coast Railing (ECR) where we will try to provide you with enough information to help you  choose the best type and style of railing for your wants and needs. We are located in Fort Mill, SC , just south of Charlotte, NC. Our location has helped us provide services in North and South Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia and Georgia.    ECR is a full service company specializing in aluminum ornamental railing. We have over 50 years of combined experience in the design, fabrication and installation of railing systems for both commercial and residential projects. Aluminum provides the customer with a railing system that will never rot, rust, twist nor decay and after applying the final finish, will provide years of maintenance free care. ECR offers two types  of residential railing:  1) a traditional picket rail system which consist of material sizes that provide a structurally sound and attractive product  2) a glass railing system that provides you with a clear view and a safe rail system that looks great. We have the ability to fabricate a wide assortment of specialty railing for commercial projects.  When looking at all designs, we discuss the project parameters, with the customer by phone, E-mail or a conference at either the ECR office or the jobsite. All projects are personally measured on the jobsite by ECR for a custom designed and fabricated rail system to fit each individual application. ECR is setup to mount the majority of  rail by either core drilling and using a quick drying cement/epoxy or shoe mounting onto the deck using lag screws.   At ECR, we encourage our customers to take advantage of our experience by allowing us to reveiw plans and predesign, along with the customer, to eliminate any possible interferences or code violations. We are available to discuss issues that may help both parties to create a more efficient rail system. Sometimes there may be a simple design change that may reduce cost without changing the rails' overall appearance. We have color chips, picket rail samples and a display trailor, for showing the glass rail system design.
